About Us

We intend to tell viewers about how the the El Cerrito High PTSA got started.  

PTSA is an Annual Membership organization.  We are here to help ECHS community members form connections with one another and point them to experiences and resources that will help enrich the lives of students and families.   

Membership dues are $15 + a $1 platform fee.  Your membership dues support our important work and about $10 of each $16 membership directly supports ECHS PTSA projects and grants. We are a member of the Bayside Council of PTAs which serves as the support network for the individual PTA units in the West Contra Costa Unified and John Swett School Districts. After the portion of dues which go to ECHS, the remainder serve the greater education community of the Bayside PTSA, the 32nd District PTA which serves all of Contra Costa County, and the state and national PTAs.

Anyone can join the PTSA including parents, students, teachers, other family members and members of the community.
