September Membership Drive

September is our annual PTSA Membership Drive at El Cerrito High School! This is the month when most families, students, teachers, and staff join so we can start the year strong together. Membership lasts for the full school year, and it’s just $16 per person (includes a $1 processing fee).

Why Join?

Membership in PTSA is about connection, support, and impact. By joining, you’re part of something bigger–at ECHS, across California, and nationwide.

Each week in September, we’re highlighting what you get as a PTSA member and what you give back to our school:

• ✨ What You Get: Connections with other families, support for your teen, a stronger voice in education, and more influence for ECHS at statewide PTA events.
  
  

• ✨ What You Give: Classroom supplies through our Wish List, community events like Coffee with the Principal, teacher appreciation lunches, student assemblies, and a stronger voice for ECHS in regional and state PTA decisions.
  
  

Our Goal

Last year we had about 200 members. This year, we’re aiming for 251 memberships! Why that number? If we reach 251, ECHS earns an additional delegate at state PTA events–giving our school more representation and influence.

Who Can Join?

Everyone! Parents, students, teachers, staff, grandparents, and community members are all welcome. Membership is per person, so we encourage families to sign up more than one member.
